This weekend I tried making vegetarian chocolate and cranberry slices following the recipe from BULK POWDERS The Core. These tasty slices make a fantastic snack to overcome those hunger cravings and is really easy to make.


  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 180g of ground oats
  • 200ml of milk
  • 25g of dried cranberries
  • 25g of cacao nibs
  • Dark chocolate


  1. Add the coconut oil, peanut butter, honey and banana into a pan and simmer
  2. Take the pan off the hob
  3. Add the ground oats and milk, then mix together
  4. Add the cranberries and cocoa nibs to the mixture and stir
  5. Place the mixture into a baking tray and spread it out
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C, then bake for 20 minutes
  7. Once baked, allow to cool for 10 minutes
  8. During this time melt the dark chocolate over a pan of boiling water (if you do it in the microwave it will go lumpy)
  9. Drizzle the dark chocolate it over the tray bake, slice and then enjoy!
